Back in 2016, Innovator and co-founder Aleksandra Ptak noticed the use of Vitamin C based formulations entering the beauty space and set about investigating claims. Her research led her to the discovery of Astaxanthin and her passion to create a serum based around this formulation. After 18months of development (including safety and stability testing) the hero product was born including three core ingredients Vitamin C, Astaxanthin and Hyaluronic Acid.

Classified as a carotenoid, Astaxanthin is a naturally derived ingredient primarily present in marine life including micro algae, wild salmon, red trout, krill, shrimp, crabs and lobsters. It gives flamingos and salmon their bright pink hue. This naturally powerful ingredient is clinically proven to increase skin moisture, moisture retention, elasticity, as well as promote skin smoothness and decreasing fine lines and wrinkles. It also helps to prevent UV and free radical damage to aid in the prevention of new signs of aging being formed with continued use. The antioxidant power of Astaxanthin is clinically proven to be 60 times more powerful than Vitamin C and more potent than Vitamin E, ensuring that the skin receives an exceptionally high level of protection against the prematurely ageing damage of environmental aggressors.
